Terms of sale for Vipps payments

These terms explain how P Apartments (P Apartments AS, 835 509 842) handles payments made with Vipps and cards, how services are delivered, and which rights you have as a customer.

1. Parties

An agreement is formed between the following parties whenever you choose Vipps as the payment method:

  • Merchant: P Apartments (P Apartments AS, 835 509 842), Storgata 89, 3921 Porsgrunn.
  • Payment facilitator: Vipps Mobilepay AS provides secure payment processing between buyer and seller.
  • Customer: Private or business client booking accommodation or related services via papartments.no.

2. Payment

We offer secure Vipps and card payments.

  • All payments are processed in NOK through the Vipps app or Vipps Checkout with Visa and Mastercard.
  • The amount is reserved when the booking is confirmed and captured no later than at check-in unless another schedule is agreed in writing.
  • Vipps ensures encryption, PSD2-compliant authentication and receipts. We never store card or account details.
  • Any Vipps transaction fees are covered by us and are not charged to the customer.

3. Delivery

Our products are accommodation services and related add-ons.

  • Booking confirmation and receipt are sent instantly by email/SMS as soon as the payment is completed.
  • Rental agreements, house rules and invoices are delivered by email or are accessible on the website.
  • Corporate clients receive a dedicated contact person and can request documentation within one business day.

4. Right of withdrawal

Section 22 (m) of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act exempts accommodation services tied to specific dates.

  • Because of this exemption, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to confirmed stays with us.
  • You may still request a free cancellation within 24 hours of booking if arrival is more than 30 days away.
  • In case of illness or force majeure we make individual refund assessments when documentation is supplied.

5. Returns and refunds

As a service provider we treat returns as cancellations or booking changes.

  • Cancellations >30 days before move-in are fully refunded. 14–30 days: 50% refund. <14 days: no refund unless the unit is rebooked.
  • Security deposits are refunded after check-out once the unit has been inspected and approved.
  • Business customers follow their contract-specific terms, but Vipps transactions are registered in the same system.

6. Complaints handling

We aim to resolve issues quickly and transparently.

  • Send complaints to booking@papartments.no or call +47 22 83 22 22 as soon as possible.
  • We acknowledge receipt within two business days and provide a proposed solution within five business days.
  • Cases involving Vipps transactions can be escalated to Vipps Support for tracing or a possible reversal.

7. Conflict resolution

If we cannot reach an agreement, Norwegian law applies.

  • We encourage written dialogue so that every proposal and agreement is documented.
  • Consumers may bring the case to the Norwegian Consumer Authority or the Consumer Complaints Board.
  • Disputes regarding the payment itself may also be handled by Vipps AS and your card issuer according to their rules.
