House rules
These house rules apply to all tenants in P Apartments. We ask all tenants to follow these rules to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
We want everyone to thrive in their home environment, and therefore we have set up guidelines to maintain a positive atmosphere. These rules apply both indoors and outdoors and include points about noise levels and individual responsibility. Please note that these rules constitute an integrated part of the rental agreement.
1. External Order
- Consider fire safety and indoor environment by smoking outdoors only in designated areas and sufficiently far away from entrance areas and buildings.
- The common laundry room is available weekdays from 07-22 and holidays from 10-22. After use, ensure the area is cleaned and tidied.
- Respect applicable municipal rules for waste handling. Deliver cardboard, glass, hazardous waste, etc., to the nearest return point or environmental station, not in the regular containers.
- Avoid letting pets roam on the property.
- Balconies should not be used as storage space or for storing garbage.
- Do not grill on balconies or roof terraces.
- Outdoor mounting of satellite antennas on walls or balconies is not permitted.
- Tenants are responsible for repairing broken windows regardless of cause.
- Tenants will be evicted for use, sale or storage of narcotic substances or other criminal behavior.
- Common areas such as courtyards, stairwells and common rooms should not be used for storing personal belongings, and littering of such areas is prohibited.
- Indoor smoking should only occur in designated areas and with sufficient distance from entrance areas and buildings to ensure fire safety and indoor environment.
- Bird food must not be placed on balconies or terraces.
2. Internal Order
- Pet ownership is not permitted in our homes.
- Windows should only be covered with curtains, blinds or roller blinds.
- Tenants are responsible for all damage to the home and must maintain mailboxes and keys if available.
- Tenants are responsible for ensuring that the rules are followed by everyone in the household and other persons they give access to the property.
- Permission from the landlord must be obtained for parties or noisy activities after 10 PM. Remaining residents must be notified after permission, for example through neighbor notification in the stairwell.
- Quiet must be maintained from 10 PM-07 all days.
- Ventilation vents in the apartment must not be sealed.
- Indoor smoking, both in apartments and common areas, is strictly prohibited. The costs for removing smoke odor and discoloration will be charged to the tenant at the end of the rental period.
- Windows should only be covered with curtains, blinds or roller blinds.
- Common areas such as courtyards, stairwells and shared rooms must be kept tidy and cannot be used for storing personal belongings. Littering is prohibited.
- Outdoor mounting of satellite antennas on walls or balconies is not permitted.
- Tenants will be evicted for the use, sale or storage of narcotic substances or other criminal behavior.
3. Compensation
- Tenants are liable for damages that occur as a result of violation of house rules or lack of care. A fine of 750 kr is imposed on the tenant for documented littering in common areas.
- Tenants are responsible for ensuring that the rules are followed by everyone in the household and other persons they give access to the property.
4. Daily Use Instructions
- Follow DSB guidelines for electric and hybrid charging, and use only type 2 wall outlets. Charging on regular outlets is not permitted. Read the user manual before use.
- Read the user manual for electric vehicle charging carefully, and use only approved charging cables.
- Extension cord in extension cord is not permitted.
- Avoid extensive use of extension cords, and they must be mechanically protected to avoid damage.

- Extension cords over 1000 W are prohibited without continuous monitoring.

- Heaters and fan heaters must not be covered by curtains.
- Report immediately burning smell from electrical installation, and inform IK EL-responsible about incorrect use of electrical equipment.
- Never use extension cords for heavy loads such as water heaters, electric cars, washing machines.
